Besakih is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali and commands beautiful view from the top of temple area. This grand Temple is located in Besakih countryside, Rendang subdistrict, Karangasem regency, east part of the island.

Candidasa & Tenganan village
A centre of original Balinese prior to Majapahit arrival, located in East Bali. It is a walled village, which consist of two rows of identical houses. The Bali Aga are reputed to be exceptionally conservative and resistant to change. One of their distinctive crafts – double ikat weaving called gerinsing, fine basketry and intricately etched lontar text are sought by art collectors.
